MBA HIT THE TOWN

March 7th at The Ropery, Sunderland sees something special going down. Miss Black America, described as 'band of the moment' by John Peel, come to play their amphetamine speed punk chaos to you lucky kids, thanks to Freekshow promotions and Potato Army Fanzine.

After having the NME announce 'thank god for Miss Black America' and having shed loads of radio play on Peel, Lamacq et al, they had quite a year in 2001. This year should see the band go on to bigger and better things, and with their ear for a catchy pop tune, as well as their strong belief in political independent culture, this is surely something to be applauded.

We can't wait for this one. Get yourselves down! Support comes from
The Dawn Parade and local indie popsters Mavis. For more information: http://www.missblackamerica.net
