This month saw the release of the new Playstation 2. If you weren't one the lucky ones who reserved the damn thing before it came over here then hard luck. If you want to get your mitts on one then you are going to have to wait until March before you see the likes if it again. If you are really distraught and can't wait then you can always bid for one on the internet but be prepared to pay a ridiculous amount of money for it. The most recent bid I saw was £1500 which is really stupid no matter how much you love your games. If you are thinking of getting a games machine for Christmas but the prices of the PS2, Dreamcast, etc. seem far to expensive then spare a thought for the old PS1. Sony have funked it up somewhat and have made some improvements to the original and still coming in at under £100 it might be just what you are looking for. Holly Scratcherd
